This is my effort inspired by the packaging on some texta coloured pencils. Mister 4 never manages to keep pencils or crayons or markers in their boxes so I put the box to good use.

DCM: - Tags and Packaging
You know all that stuff we usually throw in the bin when we buy all our goodies etc. Rhi wants you to use it on a card however you like, colour it, distress it, cut it.

The rest of the bits were scavenged from packaging found in my craft space.

DCM: - You're not the (em)boss of me
This is our fabulous new dare by Lythan. Design any card, any type as long as it includes some type of embossing, even better if you include two different types:
Here is my offering:
The dress is 'My Mother's Dress' by Inkadinkado heat embossed in silver onto a home made sheet of 'pearlised texture background paper', made by spritzing water over pigment ink and pearlex on tissue paper.
Go and have a look at the DCM blog. With so many different types of embossing around there's sure to be a card there that takes your fancy.

DCM: Celestial
This week it's my turn to set the dare and with a bit of help from Lachlan we've chosen space, stars, suns, planets, rockets, horoscopes really anything celestial.
I borrowed a template from Cardmaking & Papercraft Issue 37, thank you Naomi Sisson, to create this rocket card. The blue detailing on the rocket, the stars and the layering was created by painting with a blue watercolour pencil over the silver metallic card.

DCM Dare - Perfectly Clear
It's Kel's turn this week and she wants us to make a card using a material you can see through e.g. Acetate, Vellum etc.
Here's mine:

Although not entirely visible the inner card is seen through an acetate outer layer. The butterfiles were stamped onto a misty grey card blank with denim and stream adirondack inks then sponged over with the same colour. The card blank was edged with the denim ink then attached into the acetate over card with a little piece of ds tape on the back.
