This is what I came up with: -
All supplies Stampin' Up!® - Eat Cake Stamp Set, Pumpkin Pie Classic Ink Pad, Summer Picnic DSP, Pumpkin Pie and Wild Wasabi Card Stock, Spring Flower Bouquet and Scallop Circle Punches, Adhesive, Paper Cutter, Paper Snips, Wild Wasabi Double Stitched Ribbon.

Hostess Clubs – The dates are set now looking for members.

My stamping friends know that I love to get people together at my house to craft and chat. So on the first Tuesday of Month 9:30 – 11:30 or 7:00pm to 9:00pm I want you to come over and play. This playtime has a small twist, by agreeing to purchase $58.50 (before shipping) every month for six months you and the five other team members will take turns to receive a level one hostess set and $35.00 in free product.
As a Member of a Stamp Club you will be agreeing to:
  • Meeting up each month to create fantastic papercraft projects.
  • Getting together to craft and chat with five other like minded crafters.
  • Being hostess for one month and accepting the hostess benefits.
  • When you're the hostess providing a quick and easy snack. A biscuit and drink is all that's necessary. Keryn will provide everything else that is needed for a the club members to complete two projects.
  • Purchasing $58.50 worth of Stampin' Up!® product from the current Idea Book and Catalogue and mini Catalogue. I will receive all current catalogues
  • Providing my order to Keryn or the hostess by the date of the club meeting if I am unable to attend. Life does get in the way some times.
  • As the hostess I will be able to gather outside orders to increase the total of the club order and my hostess benefits.
Email me to receive more information. The clubs will start when the six places have been filled.

Box in a Bag

I've seen so many of these Boxes in Bags on so many blogs that I had to have a go myself. With the great instructions from Paula Goff and the encouragement from Jo-Anne, Cathryn & Suzanne at my Friday night Craft at Keryn's it with quite an easy project to put together. I am quietly very pleased with the result.

Always on the look out for new 3D ideas to demonstrate at workshops I found a template for this quick and fun stationery template on the Splitcoast Stampers forum.

Wellington Women's Lifestyle Expo

Over the weekend Sharlene, Broni, Rox and I spent Saturday and Sunday looking after our stand at the Wellington Women's Lifestyle Expo.

We met lots of crafters and potential crafters and were delighted with the number of people that wanted further information from us. Each of us has people to contact and you may have already received a phone call or an EMail from me. I will have contacted all the people on my list in the next couple of days. If you haven't heard anything from us in the next week please check your Email spam folder.
We often had a lot of people watching our demonstrations. Sharlene was in the hot seat when this photo was taken. It was a good way to show people what we do at our in home workshops and to show new techniques and tricks.
This is the team (L-R) Broni, Sharlene, Keryn and Rox. It was great to be able to share the load with an experienced team of Demonstrators.

DCM Dare: - Sprinkles

Then this dare was proposed by Mel a couple of weeks ago the first thing that came to mind was my 'Sprinkles stamp set' so that's what I've used. Not particularly imaginative I know.

Here's my card: -

All Supplies Stampin' Up!® - Stamp Sets - Fun and Fast Notes, Sprinkles, Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White Cardstock, Ruby Red Prints DSP, Purely Pomegranate and Pretty in Pink Classic Ink Pads, Blender Pen, Spring Flower Punch, Soft Subtles Brads, Craft Tool Kit, Paper Cutter, Snail.

I created and earlier version of this card with the Sprinkles flower background stamped in pretty in pink rather than purely pomegranate but that didn't show up well in the photo. I sent that one using a birthday cake with birthday wishes to my Sister In Law Jane for her birthday yesterday.

I had a great day today with this mornings Craft at Keryn's session. It ended up going into the afternoon after Cathryn brought us lunch. It's great now that a number of four year olds belonging to the group have recently turned five and gone to school, my littlest included. We got to include Megan, my newest recruit this morning. Congratulations on signing your paperwork this morning and beginning your new business as a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator. Anyone reading this from the Wainuiomata area who is looking for a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator send me an EMail and I'll pass your details on to Megan.

If you are wanting to take up the current Stampin' Up!® recruiting offer like Megan has contact me for details.

During Craft At Keryn's I like to spend the time looking after the guests but after most of them had left early this afternoon I had time to create a 6x6 layout based on one in the 2008 Spring Mini Catalogue. All supplies used Stampin' Up!® - Stamp Set In the Spotlight, Chocolate Chip, Rose Red, More Mustard, Old Olive, Not Quite Navy Cardstock, Chocolate Chip and Old Olive Classic Ink Pads, Paper Cutter, Circle Scallop, 1 1/4" circle and 3/4" circle punches, Snail and 2 way glue adhesives and Chocolate Chip Stamp N Write Marker.

If you've already got a copy of the 2008 Spring Mini Catalogue have a look at page 15 to see my inspiration. If you want me to send you a copy of the Mini Catalogue send me your postal address by EMail.

The New Spring Mini Catalogue is here ...

From today 1 August 2008 to 30 November 2008 you can order from the fabulous new stamp sets, papers, hodgepodge hardware, diecuts and ribbons in the new Spring Mini Catalogue.

My favourite stamp set from the new catalogue would have to be 'Tart and Tangy' at just $25.95 for the set of four fruit stamps it's great value and like all the other stamp sets in the catalogue it is die cut for easy mounting. Tart and Tangy is teamed in the catalogue with Summer Picnic designer series paper and 12x12 sheets of die cuts both featuring the colours bashful blue, real red, old olive and pumpkin pie.

At training in July Stampin' Up!® was very good to give us an early release of a Spring Mini stamp set ' A Beautiful Thing' which matches with a jumbo Stampin' Around wheel 'It's Beautiful' and Eastern Elegance Rub Ons.

Here's a couple of projects I've already put together using those two stamp sets. One I have already posted before.

The two popsicle cards use 'Tart and Tangy' and the card uses 'A Beautiful Thing' where I've used stamps and sponge daubers to create the background instead of using pre printed patterned paper. Thank you Lynette for giving me the idea at a recent INKspriables team meeting.

If you would like to book a Spring Mini Workshop or to receive a copy of the Spring Mini Catalogue please contact me by EMail.

Don't forget the current Stampin' Up!® recruiting special, where you can sign up to be Stampin' Up!® Independent Demonstrator and receive $30 off the already great value starter kit. Whether as a business demo or a hobby demo you are now able to substitute stamp sets from the 2008 Spring Mini for some of the standard Starter Kit sets if you wish. EMail me for more details.
