My Swap Card from yesterday's team meeting

This is my swap card from last nights Keryn's Krew team meeting. The swap was to use current products from the 2009/2010 Idea Book and Catalogue so we could all get a new set of samples. The rest of the team came up with cards made with stamp sets I don't own so that was a fabulous gain for my samples folder. Watch out for photos of the swaps from my team members after I've got their OK to post them.

All supplies used Stampin' Up!®: -

-Stamp Set - Good Morning Sunshine

-Paper - Good Morning Sunshine DSP, White and Kiwi Kiss Cardstock

-Ink - Chocolate Chip and Summer Sun Classic Ink Pads

-Accessories - Paper Cutter, Paper Snips, Bone Folder, Snail Adhesive & Stampin' Dimensionals

Colour Challenge No. 17

A little bit late again just like last week. Arriving home from a family holiday yesterday I've had time to unpack, cut and package up the papers from my DSP share and create a colour challenge card. Watch out for EMails from me if your involved in the DSP share over the next couple of days to arrange delivery.

Today's combination is: - Mellow Moss, Brocade Blue, Pale Plum and a neutral.
This card came together after I saw my new jumbo wheel 'Nursery Letters' sitting on the breakfast bar after I'd unpacked it. It was definitely time to have the wheel christened with ink.

Supplies all Stampin' Up!®:
Stamp Sets - Wild About You
Paper - Whisper White, Mellow Moss, Brocade Blue & Pale Plum Cardstock
Ink - Brocade Blue Classic Stampin' Pad
Punch - 1/4" Circle punch (Retired), Corner Rounder.
Accessories - Paper Cutter, Snail Adhesive, 2 way glue pen, bone folder, nursery letters jumbo wheel and handle.

To play along create your card using the colours listed above or the closest you have in your collection, save to your blog or website and send me a comment with your link. If you don't have a website/blog attach your card to an EMail and I will display it here with the next weeks challenge. There is no deadline on these challenges please join in whenever you please.

If you would like to expand you cardstock collection, each week I will be offering a cardstock share consisting of 8 A4 sheets of each of the three colours listed above (does not include the neutral). There will be three places and I will contact you re payment, $13.10 plus postage if necessary, once all of the places have been filled. NZ residents only please.

Email me to reserve your place.

In Colour Markers

I got an order today that included some In Colour ink refills. It's time I thought to see if I can make some In Colour markers. I've documented my trial as a tutorial. See it here.

This was my very quick try out to see how well the markers worked. I think they worked quite well.

DCM - Feeling Fruity

Guess What? It's my turn this week to set the dare on the Daring Cardmakers blog. I want you to make a card that includes a piece of fruit on it somewhere.

I decided on this dare to express my delight at Stampin' Up!® including the Tart and Tangy stamp set in it's new Idea Book and Catalogue along with individual markers which are great for stamping the images. However I went and did something completely different. I used half an apple to create the background stamped in 'Kiwi Kiss' ink to create a background for my card.

Here it is: -

All supplies Stampin' Up!® -

Stamp Set - Occasions for All (Level 2 Hostess Set)

Cardstock - Whisper White, Kiwi Kiss and Basic Grey

Ink - Kiwi Kiss Classic Stampin' Pad

Punch - Word Window

Accessories - Paper Cutter, Paper Snips, Stampin' Sponge, Snail Adhesive, Bone Folder

Colour Challenge No. 14

Each Friday I'm going to spin my Colour Coach without looking and find a new colour combination.

Today's combination is: - Lovely Lilac, Ballet Blue, Sage Shadow and a neutral.

After one false start trying to turn my Good Friend bird into a whale I went with something a little simpler this week. The ladies at Craft at Keryn's this morning did their best to save the first card but sometimes you just have to give up and count your losses.

Supplies all Stampin' Up!®:
Stamp Set - Good Friend and Occasional Greetings

Paper - Whisper White, Ballet Blue Cardstock
Ink - Lovely Lilac and Ballet Blue Classic Stampin' Pads, Sage Shadow Stampin' Write Marker
Accessories - Paper Cutter, Paper Snips, Snail Adhesive
