Using your Stamp-A-Ma-Jig (Stamp Positioner)

I own a Stamp-A-Ma-Jig (SAMJ) but haven't really used it a lot. However, when I've used it at workshops the guests have always really liked the idea of it. So if you haven't had a chance to see one at my workshops I've put together a tutorial for you.

Here are a couple of cards I put together during the making of the tutorial showing the difference between using and not using a SAMJ.

Stamp Sets - Heartfelt Thanks and Fresh Cuts

Paper - Very Vanilla, Old Olive and Brushed Copper Cardstock

Ink - Close to Cocoa, Old Olive and More Mustard Stampin' Write Markers, Close to Cocoa Classic Ink Pad

Colour Challenge No. 25

I spun the wheel yesterday and came up with a really odd looking colour combination for this weeks's colour challenge: - Orchid Opulence, Brilliant Blue and YoYo Yellow. I suppose it serves me right for leaving it so late in the week to do the challenge.

The inspiration for the card came from hunting through my stamp set collection to find something that I thought could work with these colours. Big, Bold Birthday was the one that won the challenge.

Stamp Set - Big Bold Birthday, Polka Dot
Cardstock- Very Vanilla, Orchid Opulence, YoYo Yellow, Brilliant Blue
Ink - Brilliant Blue Classic Stampin' Pad

To play along create your card using the colours listed above or the closest you have in your collection, save to your blog or website and send me a comment with your link. If you don't have a website/blog attach your card to an EMail and I will display it here with the next weeks challenge. There is no deadline on these challenges please join in whenever you please.

Daring Card Makers - Hot

It's my turn to set the Dare this week. I want you to create cards that make me feel warm. Use only yellow based warm colours. Red, orange, yellow would be great start. Think of sunflowers and buckets and spades.

As always my own dare is always the hardest for me to do. While making the card I realised I don't really like yellow based colours. I prefer crafting with blue based colours.

Anyway here's the card. My inspiration came from a visions of a large yellow sun. Thanks Kelly for helping my thought process on this one.

Thank You Stampin' Up!®

I know I've already posted today but that was before I knew what was waiting for me in my letter box.

I wasn't able to get to Convention this year so Stampin' Up!® sent out my reward stamp sets and pin in the mail. With a lot of hard work I managed to earn a $30K sales reward.

It's fantastic to work with a company when you know you are appreciated for your hard work.

I've already managed to mount one set of stamps. I don't think I'm going to get time to play now as the boys are almost home from school. Watch out for something made with my new stamps in the next day or two, maybe my Colour Challenge on Wednesday.

My First Christmas Card

I've made my first Christmas card in June. I took my inspiration from an embossing on Designer Series Paper article in the June Impressions magazine for Stampin' Up!® demonstrators and also Anita's card that she made for our May team swap.

All supplies Stampin' Up!®: -

Stamp sets: - Loads of Love, Best Yet

Paper: - Riding Hood Red Cardstock and Holiday Treasures DSP

Ink: - Versamark, Riding Hood Red Classic Ink Pad
