The Other Crafter in my Household
My partner Dave is the other crafter in our household, which probably explains why he understands my cardmaking and never cringes at the amount of money I spend on it. From time to time I like to show off his woodturned pens, keyrings and letter openers for everyone to see. (Please see the photos above. The acrylic items are also turned on a woodturning lathe using mostly the same procedures and products as the wooden ones).
From the top they are:-
- Slimline ballpoint in walnut
- Keyring in rewarewa (NZ native timber)
- Fountain Pen in black velvet acrylic
- Rollerball Pen in capuccino acrylic.

Very stunning. My dad likes wood turning but only fruit bowls etc...
Doubt he'd have the patience require for these beauties!!!
Paula, Dave turns pens because he doesn't have the patience to turn bowls. Each to their own I guess.
They are lovely.
I've got a wooden pen and pencil set - they have Winnie the Pooh on them, as does the box. I'm a bit of a WtP fan
I am a self confessed Pen obsessive and that fountain pen is just STUNNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Tracie
I must make sure to show your comment to Dave, he'll be delighted with the compliment.
