Daring CardMakers - Stamp with a Twist

This week it's my turn to propose the dare. What do you think, did this one scare you enough?

I wanted people to stamp but not using commercially produced stamps. The inspiration I had for this dare was from a magazine where they published cards stamped using fruit and vegetables. I tried that. It didn't work out the way I wanted it to so I had a minor panic and carried on. This is what I came up with:-

For this one I used dominoes and dice and black and red pigment ink to stamp the images. I attached the dominoes to an acrylic stamp mount but the dominoes where deep enough to hold on their own.

To get the background for the flowers I cut a square from a textured polystyrene meat tray, attached it to an acrylic stamp mount and stamped using a kaleidocolour pad.

Please join in by looking at the cards of the Design Team on the 'Daring CardMakers' site and then follow the instructions to show us your cards.

Nice job, Keryn! And very innventive - I would never have thought to use a Meat tray as a stamp!! There's something I was shown last christmas so I might get my camera out and pop it on as I've been making a few tags for christmas this year.
