DCM Blog Dare - Random

Both my boys selected four items out of a plastic bag for me. Lucky that as I had a go with the first four and forgot I couldn't add anything else so I had this nice card but it didn't fit the dare.

Then I moved on to the second set and with the addition of cardstock and watercolour paper used only: Acrylic Paint, Cork, Watercolour Pencils and Die Cuts. In my stash I had credit card backgrounds made a few months ago using acrylic paint. So I grabbed those and the cork and used my favourite flower die and die cut the flowers, then mixed them all up. The background is water colour pencils scribbled on to water colour paper and then sprayed with water.

Have a look at the blog here and see all the other fabulous creations by the rest of the design team.

What a gorgeous butterfly card - whispy and delicate, just like a butterfly should be.

The cork card is pretty too - what a difference in styles! They both 'work' though

These are both so pretty - and so different. The butterfly one is gorgeous, it's such a delicate picture.
I've never used cork on a card - but it works really well - it would be fab with raffia and parchementy stuff too I think.

The colours of the flowers are lovely
