A Most Distressing Dare followed by a Fun Morning

It was my turn to set the dare for the Daring Cardmakers design team this week. I decided to distress all of them, well at least their cards. It didn't matter whether they used finger nails, sandpaper, curled edges or ripping, anything really as long as the card looked like it had some wear and tear.

To see the fantastic work done by the design team and to find out how to join in with the dare click here.

Here's my card: Supplies used: - Stampin' Up! From the Garden Stamp Set, White Gloss and Bravo Burgundy Cardstock, Bravo Burgundy Classic, Regal Rose Classic, Versamark and Encore Metallic Gold Ink Pads, Paper Cutter, Sanding Blocks, Blender Pen. Gold microfine glitter and gold embossing powder from stash.

After publishing a rather distressing dare last night it was all smiles and chat with four lovely ladies joining me for the second session of my 'Welcome to New Idea Book and Catalogue' class this morning. Thank you ladies I had a great time. The ladies left happily with their creations and a copy of the 2008/2009 Idea Book and Catalogue to peruse over the weekend.

If you haven't had a chance to look at the 2008/2009 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalogue contact me to purchase your own copy for $15.00 plus $2.00 postage or visit the Stampin' Up! Website. If you are based in the greater Wellington area the Idea Book & Catalogue as well as my sample folders are always available for viewing at my classes and events.
