Post it Note Keyring

I've been eyeing up this post it note keyring tutorial on Angie Kennedy Juda's blog for sometime and finally decided today it was time to do something about it. While travelling to have lunch with DH's parents I stopped at Warehouse Stationery and to my delight discovered that we have post it notes it the same imperial dimensions as in the US so didn't have to adjust Angie's instructions one little bit.

Here's mine:

Supplies used all Stampin' Up! - Bodacious Bouquet & Eat Cake Stamp Sets, Pixie Pink and Pretty in Pink Cardstock, Pixie Pink Classic Ink Pad, Cropadile, Craft Tool Kit, Snail, Stick Strip, Paper Cutter, Scallop Circle & 11/4" Circle Punches, soft subtles brads. Oh and a book ring.

After making it I decided it would make the perfect Mother's Day gift for DH's Mum who is always saying 'don't buy me anything' without getting into any trouble.

Guess what's on my shopping list! What a great idea and cute little gift! Looked at Angies blog, lots of interesting ideas, especially like the scallop ornament, which could be adapted for front of a Xmas card!
(another use for my new buy!)
