When you sit down to make party invitations you want to go all out and make the best invitations you can. But in the case of invitations for a seven year old you know those invitations are going to be carted to school, handed out, then placed in a school bag with left over lunch scraps and arrive home in a not so pristine state. It almost makes you want to race off to the local bookstore and buy ready made ones.
I think the one's I've made for Cameron's pool party are a perfect compromise. Simple and quick enough to make so not as much heartache when they are damaged in a school bag but with enough layering, stamping and sponging to keep this obsessed papercrafter happy.
