I Made It This Week

If you've been following my blog for a little while you'll know that I challenged myself to make 7 cards each week.  Last week I failed miserably unable to pull together enough time to make even one.  This week I was determined and even tho. I only finished the last one 15 mins ago have managed to make this weeks seven cards and catch up last weeks as well.

The glitter card, centre bottom, was featured earlier in the week in this post.

The Blushing Bride bauble card, right in the bottom row, was featured in my Facebook photo album on Thursday.

The rest - how was I going to come up with 12 cards in the nick of time.  Like a lot of Papercrafters I have a number of half finished projects, whether they be left over Workshop Make and Takes or even in this case half made Christmas cards from last year.  It was definitely time to complete a few.

This card made by sticking strips of ribbon behind a punched card was a partly completed card from last Christmas.  The small star punch is retired but any punches will do from circles, to flowers to ornaments.

These cards are a sample of the seven I made using half completed cards that I took with me to 'Stampin' At the Beach' in September.

These cards using the Tree set from Contempo Christmas were originally a workshop Make & Take from last Christmas season using the now retired 'Holly Jolly Christmas' Stamp set.

Don't through away those half completed cards.  Even though they may not work for their intended purpose anymore a different stamp set, a touch of bling or even changing the pieces around into a new layout will give them a new lease of life.

Go through your leftover and half completed card kits, maybe from last Christmas, and choose a new stamp set and accessory from the 'Dress Up Christmas' promotions and walk away with a FREE roll of ribbon.  See the details here and then EMail me to place your order.
