'Lest We Forget'

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."

Today in New Zealand Easter Monday and ANZAC day share the same day.

Dave and the boys again spent the better part of the morning as part of the Tawa ANZAC parade and service.  Lachlan as the eldest Cub was privileged to be able to carry the Cub flag.

When I got back from the parade I made up one of the jumbo paperclips I'd managed to find at Smiggle into a bookmark.  It seemed only appropriate that today's one was made with a red poppy using the Wide Oval, Large Oval & 1/2" circle punches.

Watch out for tomorrow's post which is a brighter coloured bookmark using a bright pink paperclip and the cup cake punch and stamp set.

saw this on FB and thought I'd pop in to say what a lovely "make" it is - and what a great idea for wearing a poppy.
