Prepping for Mother's Day $2 Day

In the search for inspiration for my Mother's Day themed $2 cardmaking day I found this card by cjbutler on the Splitcoast Stampers gallery.

Changing the idea and making it my own I first made this card but was a little disappointed that I couldn't quite fit the greeting in as I wanted to.

Then moving things round 90 degrees I found the design I wanted for my $2 cardmaking day on the 1st May.
