What goes around .....

I've discovered recently that parenting an 11 year old is adding a whole new set of tools to my parenting tool box.  Unfortunately as always I'm finding them by trial and error.  Yesterday evening we had a break through and to celebrate the understanding gained I've made Mr 11 a decorated quote to help him remember.

What I learnt in the process of making the sign was that I could cut lots of pieces of scrap card, using the Tasteful Trim die, so I had lots of choice and then not worry about throwing them away unused when the sign was finished. They were scraps anyway.  Then when I didn't have enough of the one I wanted it was so easy to cut another scrap into the trim I wanted.

What I used: -
Stamp Set - Broadsheet Alphabet
Paper - Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Perfect Plum, Concord Crush & Pacific Point Cardstock
Ink - Night of Navy Classic Stampin' Pad
Punch - 1 3/8" Circle
Other - Quote printed on the computer, Frame from Bargain Store, Paper Cutter, Paper Snips, Snail Adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin' Sponge.

No body said parenting was easy, did they?! But I love how you have chosen to celebrate with your son a lesson learnt, Keryn. Fab idea ♥
