Back from a Small Break away and Appreciation night Invites

I took advantage of Carmen's workshop on Thursday being up at Waikanae beach to have a couple of days away with the family at the beach.  The weather wasn't perfect but good enough for bike riding and playing on the beach.

In the quiet moments of the school holidays I've been putting together my invitations for my Hostess Appreciation event on Thursday 25th August.  If you've hosted a workshop with me from 26th August 2010 and 25th August 2011 then you'll be receiving an invite in the mail.

I'm really enjoying my 'blossom party' Sizzix die for creating flower embellishments to match my projects.  It is also fantastic for using up cardstock scraps by placing a number of scraps on the die to get the flower pieces cut in a rainbow of colours.  Don't worry about the pieces overlapping as the Sizzix steel rule dies can cut up to three sheets of cardstock.
