Purple and Gold

Over on my Facebook page I asked which colour combination was going to be the most popular for Christmas cards this year.  The most popular by just a whisker was 'Purple and Gold'.

Here's the card that I made using Elegant Eggplant cardstock and ink and Gold Embossing powder to really make the 'Contempo Christmas' ornament stamp sparkle.  While you can use gold card and gold ink there is nothing that rivals gold embossing powder for the look of true gold.

 

Seeing heat embossing demonstrated at an In Home workshop, not unlike a Stampin' Up!® one, about 14 years ago was the start of my papercrafting addiction.

Ink - Elegant Eggplant Classic Stampin' Pad, Versamark

Accessories - Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Stampin' Sponge, Snail Adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals, Paper Cutter, Bone Folder.
