Heleen's First Make & Take

As always the ladies and I had a great time at the Keryn's Krew team meeting last night.  I'm sure we get louder and louder each time we meet.

After getting the business side of things out the way, with the catalogue transition starting next month it took a little longer than usual, the highlight of the night was Heleen Smith's first ever demonstration and Make & Take. 

Here is my version of her card.  I have to say that Heleen's card was definitely stamped cleaner than mine was.

 

The black dots on the Flower Image from 'Upsy Daisy' were achieved by hitting the inked stamp with the side of a 'Basic Black' brush marker.  You can do this with any colour or a combination of colours to create the effect you want.  You just can't go past Satin ribbon, especially Black, if you want to add an elegant touch to your card or project.

Keryn's Krew meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month in Tawa, Wellington.  The next meeting is the 22nd August. We'd love you to come and join us.
