Faux Emboss Resist Thank You Card

 

Emboss resist is a fabulous technique showing your image appearing from a layer of sponged colour.  

This is how you emboss resist: - 

Stamp your chosen image on a light coloured cardstock with versamark ink.

Sprinkle with clear embossing powder and tap off excess.

Heat with an embossing heat tool until the powder melts.

Sponge using your classic stampin' pads in the colours of your choice.

Wipe over with a tissue to reveal your image.

They way I used it in my card today was even easier.  The designs in the Naturals Composition Specialty Designer Series Paper are already embossed.  All I've had to do is cut it too size and sponge the ink over the top and then polish with a tissue.  Too easy!
