Crafting idea for kids on a wet day.

It's getting close to the end of the first week of school holidays.  The Mum's have got stuff they need to catch up on and if the weather is playing out where you are like it is in Wellington this morning, it's raining.

I've scrolled through my tutorials section this morning to find projects that you can set up for the kids, that don't use your expensive tools, like the Big Shot or lots embellishments.  I know some kids, especially the younger ones, don't get less is more.  You'll know your child(ren) best and which projects they can accomplish with minimal supervision.

Click on the photos to be taken to the full tutorial.

This tutorial was on filling the cellophane bags.  You don't have to fill them with lollies.  Any stamp and coordinating punch will make a topper to suit your child's interests and colour choices.  My flowers were made with the Mixed Bunch stamp set and the Blossom Punch.

You could set the kids up with circles punches and your cardstock/paper scraps to make circle flowers.

Set up a two step stamp set, limited ink colours and some cut card bases and matting card and let the kids go for it.

With Christmas coming maybe they'd like to make some baubles as gifts for their teachers.  This one uses strips of Designer Series Paper 1"x4" so another great way to use up your paper scraps and ribbon offcuts.

And finally another Christmas decoration using punches and matching stamp sets or punched coloured card or paper.

If your child(ren) is still looking for ideas after going through the ones above pop over and have a scroll through my tutorials.
