Holiday Catalogue with an ESAD Blog Hop to Celebrate
I just love getting my hands on a new catalogue. So many new ideas, so many new things that I just have to have, on my wishlist at least, and this one is no exception.
Join me and the other Stampin' Up!® demonstrators from the ESAD group as we walk you through projects completed showcasing products new to the Holiday Catalogue.
You may have joined me from Narelle Hoggard's blog, weren't her bows just fabulous, or joined me here. Wherever you start just click on the links at the bottom of each post until you get right back to where you started from.
As the South Pacific market has got more 'grown up' we now have the same catalogues that are offered to the North American (USA & Canada) Market so you'll see some products offered with a Thanksgiving theme.
Stampin' Up!® are very generous to it's demonstrators and I was able to earn the 'Thankful Tablescape' Simply Created Kit. Because I don't celebrate Thanksgiving and I don't entertain at all really I had to think a bit outside the box to create something with it, but I wasn't going to let it win.
Here's what I came up with: -
A gift set containing a practical note hanger & pen for the fridge, along with the treats (got to love Whittakers chocolate), a card and a spare just in case.
This is pretty much as the kit was intended to be except I replaced the linen thread with a pen and didn't include the cutlery or the stamping on the note paper (see below).
Every gift requires a treat and all crafters like chocolate. I created the box from crumb cake cardstock. The sides of the box are 7cm square to suit the size of the chocolate chip paper ribbon (from the kit). The box was decorated before assembling with crumb cake ink and one of the images from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.
The cards were made to match the box from 99x198mm crumb cake card bases. The flowers were cut using the the Blossom Party Originals Big Shot die from the Birch Paper ribbon, Chocolate Chip paper ribbon and Tangerine Tango paper originally intended for belly bands.
