Dare 7 - Sing

The Daring CardMakers dare for this week was propsed by Kel who dared us to make a card using the lyrics of a song and it couldn't be Happy Birthday or Congratulations.

I've chosen to use a background stamp with the words and lyrics from a 'Flower of Scotland'. Flower of Scotland was written by Roy Williamson of the folk group The Corries in 1966. I sprayed the floral stamp, which I'm hoping looks a bit like heather, with water and wiped most of it off again then inked the stamp with green pigment ink and lavender coloured chalk ink to give the slightly water colour look and stamped directly over the background. To finish I smudged the edge of the light grey card with the green ink and layered onto green card.

I really love this card. I have a soft spot for script. I love to see it & I chose to use it on mine.
I have no end of vellum with music & script & never really used it until this challenge..
