Make and Takes from the Weekend

These are the Make and Takes that my talented stamping buddies came up with for the weekend.

Kelly worked out the dimensions for this stationery folder on the fly for us. Very talented lady.

We got to choose our own supplies for this one and I chose: -

Stamp Set: - Good Friend

Paper: - More Mustard 12x12 Cardstock, Whisper White A4 Cardstock, Good Morning Sunshine DSP

Ink: - Chocolate Chip Classic Stampin' pad

Other: - Jumbo Eyelets, Crop A Dile, Sponge, Paper Snips, Paper Cutter, White 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon (dyed), Bone Folder, Snail Adhesive.

Don't you think that Donna chose the cutest Owl for us to decorate the box with.

We used the following punches for the owl:

- round tab punch

- scallop circle punch

- 3/4" circle punch

- 1/2" circle punch

- 1 1/2" circle punch

Vicky very cleverly created a template from a birthday card she'd received from a friend in Australia. The first one is the using the papers Vicky provided in the kit and I liked the idea so much I made the second one.

Supplies for the second one all Stampin' Up!®:

- Stamp Set - Occassions for all Level Two Hostess Set

- Paper - So Saffron, Bashful Blue and Whisper White Cardstock, Washington Apple DSP

- Ink - So Saffron

- Punches - Word Window, Scallop Edge, 1/2" Circle

- Accessories - Paper Cutter, Paper Snips, Whisper White Ribbon Dyed, Snail Adhesive.

The trick for this one, Vicky told me and I still had to peel my paper back, is to stick the ribbon onto the cardstock for the handle before the paper.
