DCM - How Egg-citing

With Easter almost upon us Lythan has dared us to make cards featuring either Egg Shapes or Chocolate.  Now I know a lot of you will be eating the chocolate while you make the card but that doesn't count.

Here's my card: -

The egg shape has been cut from both Pink Pirouette Cardstock and Vellum.  The Pink Pirouette bottom layer was stamped with the swirl stamp from the 'Perfect Princess' Stamp set and the vellum top layer was embossed with the 'Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder' and the Big Shot.

Go over to the Daring Cardmakers blog to see what the rest of the design team have done with this dare.  We'd all love to see what you can come up with.

Supplies Stampin' Up!® unless noted otherwise: -
Stamp Sets: - Perfect Princess (Swirl), Polka Dot, Ocassional Greetings (Easter Wishes)
Paper: - Vellum, Pink Pirouette, Rose Red and Whisper White Cardstock
Ink: - Rose Red Classic Stampin' Pad
Punches: - Non Stampin' Up!® Oval Cutting System, Wide Oval Punch
Accessories: - Paper Cutter, Paper Snips, Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Stampin' Sponge, Pretties Kit, Snail Adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots, Bone Folder, 1" Rose Red Double Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.

The vellum embossing is really effective. Very pretty. :)
