It was Cameron's 7th Birthday yesterday and he made it easy for me by wanting a pary at Porirua's Aquatic Centre.
His birthday cake had an edible icing picture of WALL-E and so that set the theme for the party. Luckily I had the perfect stamp set to create the goodie bag toppers with. The ones in the photo using the Top Note Die and Perfect Poka Dots Embossing folder where for my nieces.
There seems to be a new trend for the kids to give out little gifts, lollipops etc to their classmates on their birthdays. I'd made and given Cameron bookmarks stamped with a robot for the boys and butterflies for the girls.
It was the nicest compliment when getting the kids ready to leave the pool this afternoon to have Quinn tell me that he really liked the robot on his goody bag as it was the same as the one on his bookmark. It was great to watch some of the kids taking their goodie bag apart gently so they could keep the robot.
