and a little sneak peek - I got a box full of preordered goodness from the 2010/2011 Summer Mini Catalogue today so I had to use some of it on today's DCM card. See if you can work out what's new.
"A TIME TO REMEMBER
"A TIME TO REMEMBER
Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today. On this day people of many nations pause to reflect on the sacrifices made by our brave Service men and women.
The poppy became the symbol of remembrance as they were the only living thing that survived the bloody battles of Flanders during the First World War.
So to mark this very special Day of Remembrance we would like to see your cards based on the Poppy – be it the flower itself or it’s vibrant Red colour."
Here's mine using Butterfly punch poppies and Poppy Parade cardstock: -
I'll add what I used to make the card on Monday so you have some time to work out what's new, to give you a hint there is a slightly embossed shimmer pattern in the white layer that you might not be able to see in the photo.
In the meantime pop over to the Daring Cardmakers blog to see what the rest of the Design Team came up with.

Those poppies are simply perfect Keryn - I would have never thought to use a butterfly punch. It's a stunning card.
