I've chosen to use the 'Silver Foil Smooch Spritz' and the 'Presto Patterns Specialty Designer Series Paper' to show you how you can use Sponging, Spritzing and Stamping to bring out the texture in the Designer Series Paper.
This card is almost cardstock weight which means it will handle a lot of colour treatments. It's plan white with an almost invisible embossed pattern. The pattern I've used today is one of six in the paper pack.
I started by Spritzing 1 sheet of my DSP with the Silver Foil Smooch Spritz, I then cut this to as a background layers on the my cards and used the rest to punch using the Large Ornament Punch and the greeting hanging from my decorations.
The background layers have been sponged which also brings out the pattern.
My second sheet of DSP was used as the base card for my cards and to stamp on with the ornament stamp from the 'Contempo christmas' stamp set (found in the IBC).
Adding conchord crush & pacific point cardstock and a bit of ribbon I put together my cards and my decorations.
