Teacher Gifts

This afternoon the boys and I worked on gifts for their teachers.  I'm afraid we weren't very original coming up with a mixture of Hershey's Kisses, Roses Chocolates and Cadbury Favourites.  In my defence they are packaged in very original boxes.

As Lachy is leaving his primary school to go to Intermediate next year we've put together a treat box with matching card, made by Lachy, for the staff room.

I use this tutorial on the Splitcoast Stampers website to make my treat boxes.  This time however as a time saver I've chosen to decorate my box with the Cottage Garden stamp set and Marina Mist ink accented with basic pearls instead of spending extra time cutting a sticking the designer series paper.

The next two gifts were very easy as the boys chose projects that I'd already made and shown to you.

The first is the mouse note holder that Lachy will make a card to go with and give to his teacher.
and the second is a Pillow Box Bucket that Cameron has filled with lot's of Yummy Chocolate for his teacher.  Cameron will be making a card for this one too.

The tutorial for this bucket can also be found on Splitcoast Stampers.

As the boys are finishing school for the year on Thursday you should expect to see less frequent posting here on the blog.  I'll still be available to take your orders, answer your questions and support my team but will be taking a little break, with no events scheduled, to spend time with my boys over the school holidays.
