'Lest We Forget'

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."

Today in New Zealand it's ANZAC day.

Dave and the boys have set out for the Tawa ANZAC parade and service.  You can see in the photo that my oldest wasn't sure this was what he wanted to be doing this morning and my youngest was so excited to be at a big event with his Dad.

This year's ANZAC day project is a bookmark with the red poppy for ANZAC day and a bookmark for the rest and relaxation that Kiwis will be getting this afternoon.  The poppy was made using the Wide Oval, Large Oval & 1/2" circle punches.

You can see from the shadows in my photo that it is a gorgeous Sunny Day in Wellington this morning.  Perfect for all the ANZAC day parades.

Great to see your family out parading, Keryn. It is a gorgeous day up here in Auckland, too!
