Christmas Card Wednesday - Pennant Parade Tree

My card today is for those of you who earnt Silver Glimmer Paper during Sale A Bration, but don't worry if you didn't you can order it the usual way.

I don't know if you can see it in the photo but this card has a little more dimension than I usually use.  Looks great but there is a reason behind it.  Snail adhesive does not stick well to the surface of the glimmer paper.  Stampin' Dimensionals, which I've used, or glue dots work a lot better.

If you can try not to cut glimmer paper of any colour with a paper trimmer that drags it's blade through the cardstock, like the Stampin' Up!® one.  While they will cut glimmer paper cleanly it blunts the blades very quickly.  In my card you'll see I've used the 2 1/2" Circle and Pennant Builder Punches to cut my glimmer paper.

I used: -

Pennant Parade Stamp Set - wood 125012 - clear 122742

Teeny Tiny Sentiments Stamp Set - wood 119185 - clear 120024

Gumball Green Cardstock - 127543

Gumball Green Classic Stampin' Pad - 126861

Whisper White Cardstock - 106549

Sivler Glimmer Paper - 124005
