ESAD Blog Hop Mother's Day Projects Using the Big Shot

Good Morning everyone!

"I hope you’re ready for the ESAD Blog Hop! Better go grab yourself a cuppa as you’ll be hopping for a while!

What is ESAD you say?

ESAD stands for Extra Special Australian (and New Zealand) Demonstrators and it is an online group just for Australian and New Zealand demonstrators for Stampin’ Up!

We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends and wonderful blog visitors but we share our love for what we do with each other as Demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know how and cyberstamps and we are always there to help and support each other when its needed.

So if you are a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group."

I really enjoyed browsing through the blogs included in the last ESAD blog hop and have decided to join in myself this time.  I found the instructions for this top note tissue box earlier in the month and decided it was the perfect little gift for Mothers or Grandmothers.  When my Grandmothers were still alive and in rest homes this is the sort of thing they would have really appreciated.

You might have noticed the difference in ink colour between the tissue box and the card.  I've already had to reink my Rich Razzleberry Classic Stampin' Pad and I did it between the two impressions.

Debs, one of my downline, originally found the idea for the Tissue Box on Renee Clark's blog.  As there are no instructions on Renee's blog we had to work out the dimensions as we went along. The dimensions we came up with for the box are 155 x 182. Score at both 10mm and 40mm from each edge to form the sides and a fold over at the top of the box to attach the top note die to. Cut off any tabs that are not necessary as you go.

Products used all Stampin' Up!®: -
Stamp Set - Occasional Greetings
Paper - Cottage Wall DSP, Rich Razzleberry & Orchid Opulence Cardstock
Ink - Rich Razzleberry Classic Stampin' Pad
Punches - Scallop Oval
Accessories - Big Shot, Top Note Die, Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon, Paper Cutter, Paper Snips, Stampin' Sponge, Snail Adhesive & Sticky Strip.

You may have found my blog by hopping along from the talented Susan Joyce's Blog or you may be starting the blog hop from here.  Wherever you joined the hop click on the link to go to Gardenia Pepworth's blog and then carry on through the blog hop until you get back to where you started.

If you are able to make it through the whole blog hop and have left a comment on all the posts please let Sharlene Torres know by Friday 30th April 2010 so you can be put in the blog candy draw.  No Stampin' Up!® demonstrators please.

They are so cute! I love the originality of the idea! It's great to see thing other than cards and boxes and bags (even though I love them, it's fun to make other things beautifully too!).
