The First of the Holiday LOs

I haven't got all the photos off the cameras yet but just so I had something done I've created a 6x6 album cover for 2011 using a Collage Photo of a number of trips from our New Plymouth holiday.

I used Picasa to create my Collage and printed it on my Inkjet printer. Then I chose the colours of Pacific Point and Garden Green to match the colours in the photos.  The Garden Green background needed some texture so the 'So Swirly' jumbo wheel in Garden Green ink filled the bill perfectly.  For a quick and easy decoration for the Chip Board numbers the wheel worked well again in Pacific Point with a bit of sponging round the edges.

You might be able to see a couple of photos of an old style scale in the collage.  I don't whether I was pleased to find something made by my Grandfather in the Stratford Pioneer Museum or insulted that they thought I was old enough to be the granddaughter of a New Zealand Pioneer.

Techniques used: -
 - Stampin' Up!® Around Jumbo Wheel in same colour as cardstock to provide texture.
 - Sponging
 - Stampin' Around Jumbo Wheel to decorate Chipboard.

If these techniques are new to you they might be just what you need to enter my 'Happy New Year' challenge.
